Churches in the Cyclades

Greece is full of churches. Each region has its own style, however a pan-Hellenic church architectural style would be the Byzantine style church with the predominant Dome on the roof, symbolising the heavens. One of the most characteristic style churches in the Greek world is found on the Greek islands of the Aegean, especially in the Cyclades, with their white stone walls, the (sometimes) blue dome uniting thus the colours of the Greek flag and the colours of the sky and the sea.
Here are some examples from numerous Cyclades islands.

Santorini.

Tinos.

Mykonos.

Naxos.

Syros.
