The Magical Ice Kingdom, Winter Wonderland 2013

Christmas is here again, and the Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park has become the main attraction in the British capital. However, one of the most spectacular attractions within Hyde Park is the Magical Ice Kingdom, an awe-inspiring walk through a fantastical world of real ice and snow. Crafted from over 200 tons of ice and snow it is the largest of its kind in the United Kingdom, created especially for Winter Wonderland.

This year’s theme is Saxony. Many of our festive traditions originate from Saxony (Germany). Towards the end of the tour the visitor can also refresh himself, in order to keep warm, having a hot chocolate or a bit or alcohol. Also, this attraction is truly a cold one, since the temperature in the Magical Ice Kingdom is between -10 and -18. So, try and keep warm whilst marvelling at the magnificent ice sculptures.
