The Medical Herb Garden, Canterbury

Behind the Cathedral of Canterbury one finds the Medical Herb Garden. The Cathedral Gardeners recreated a medicinal herb garden amongst the ruins of the dormitory. Whilst this area has been part of a work site during the archive roof renovations, it is hoped that the herb garden will soon be back to its former glory. The plants found here include the Lily of the Valley, Horseradish, Wormwood, Lovage, Elecampane, Good King Henry, Juniper, Sweet Violet and Motherwort.
