Fighter Plane given to a Monastery

Visiting the Monastery of St Michael, known as the Taxiarch of Mantamados, on the Greek island of Lesvos, one can see a Greek Fighter Plane F-5. Archangel Michael is the patron saint of the Greek Military Airforce; therefore, it was given to the monastery, in order to show their appreciation and their devotion to their patron saint. The name of this fighter plane is Alexander the Macedon.
